Corporate Matters is expanding with a new Partner

After serving the Danish central bank for seven years as a press officer and advisor to the
management Ole Mikkelsen will join Corporate Matters as Partner and Senior Advisor from 1
September.

Corporate Matters is a Danish advisory agency with focus on strategic communications. The agency takes care of interests and reputation of national and international companies in Denmark. The company help to increased visibility for commercial foundations, privately owned, listed companies and others.

“We are excited to welcome Ole to Corporate Matters. With his extensive knowledge about Danish
economy and with second to none experience and knowledge of the financial sector, Ole will provide consultancy at the highest level to Corporate Matters’ clients,” says Managing Partner Christian Lemvigh.

Ole Mikkelsen graduated from Denmark’s School of Journalism. During his career he has worked for daily business papers Børsen and Berlingske. He has also spent 10 years with global news agency Reuters. From the other side of the table Ole Mikkelsen has experience with communication, advisory and message training for the biggest financial institution in the Nordic, Nordea, and lobby group The Association of Local Banks, Savings Banks and Cooperative Banks in Denmark.

Since 2016 Ole has been responsible for handling press inquiries at the Danish central bank. The job at Danmarks Nationalbank has also included advising the top management, the bank’s economists and developing a podcast series on economics.

During his career, he has also written a portrait book about Danske Bank’s former CEO Peter Straarup.

“The financial sector in Denmark is undergoing a transformation these years, where increasingly greater demands for accountability and transparency is high on the agenda. The development creates great demands on how to communicate. I look forward to my new role as an adviser, where I can use my extensive knowledge,” says Ole Mikkelsen.
